Mediterranean Hummus

Jazz up store-bought hummus in no time at all with our Mediterranean inspired combo that will have everyone coming back for more.  Great recipe to have under under your belt ahead of summer entertaining.  Serve alongside crackers, bread and vegetable sticks.

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp smoky paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil 
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice 
  • 2 Tbsp parsley chopped
  • Handful of canned chickpeas to garnish
  • 300 g hummus of your choice. Our favourite hummus brands are Yumis, Pilpel and Obela and can be picked up at most Woolworths and Coles stores. 

In a small bowl combine spices, olive oil, lemon juice and parsley. Transfer the hummus from the container to your favourite serving plate or bowl. Drizzle the prepared mixture over the hummus. Top the hummus with a handful of chickpeas and sprinkle some paprika to garnish.
